24 Oct DRG to support Yara with the replacement of their cooling water system

The existing cooling water system for the ammonia plant at Yara Tertre in Belgium is to be replaced. The majority of the cooling water headers will be replaced before the turnaround to limit the length of the turnaround. DRG has won the contract to support Yara in the project management and the final engineering for the piping.

In these roles DRG will play an important role in ensuring that the project is delivered on time before the turnaround in 2018.

This work continues on from the previous FEED (Front End Engineering Design) performed earlier this year, within which the technical advantages and disadvantages of the various cooling water routing were compared.
